ISEJ 2024

The 4^th ISEJ Biotech (International Seminar and Expo on Jamu and Biotechnology) 2024 is a continuation of the bienial seminar organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Padjadjaran, previously held in 2022. The theme of The 4^th ISEJ Biotech seminar is “Trends in Health and Beauty: Harnessing the Power of Natural Products” in response to increasing enthusiasm for natural products usage and biotechnological approach to maintain health and as also its utilization as active ingredients in beauty products.

The 4th ISEJ Biotech will be held on November 12-13^th, 2024 in Savoy Homann Hotel, a historical place in the heart of Bandung, West Java – Indonesia.

The objective

The objective of The 4^th ISEJ 2024 is to bring researchers, staff, and post-graduate students to collaboratively discuss and disseminate their findings, consent, and thoughts in natural product research, particularly Jamu, and also biotechnology research.

The further aim of this seminar is to recognize, share and strengthen the topics and focus of the latest research from each collaborating institution hence it can develop towards accelerating the best results that can be applied in a practical scope and triggering collaboration in various forms that give benefits to all collaborating parties.

Activities

Seminars on the first and second days and workshops on the second day.
The theme of 4^th ISEJ Biotech Workshop is “The Art of Jamu” by Acaraki.
